I was enjoying my morning coffee on the patio outside my door when I had an unexpected visitor.
This has to be the biggest toad I’ve ever seen.
I do admit I like my little chipmunk visitor more. Could be because I grew up on chip and dale instead of Kermit the frog. Frog? Toad?
Apparently frogs have big bulging eyes while toads eyes are more subtle in appearance. And frogs have smooth or slimy skin that is moist and toads have thicker, bumpy skin that is usually dry.
Not that I know by first hand experience, but I think this guy was a toad. I don’t really go for the slimy kind of friends.
